AI assistants can now control your Google Home devices

What's happening?

Google has opened up its smart home system to AI agents — think of these as advanced chatbots that can understand what you want and take action. Popular AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT can now connect to Google Home and control all your connected devices.

What does this actually mean for you?
